Celsius energy drink cans filled with vodka in production mishap

Some US officials warn Celsius energy drinks to check their tin boxes after accidentally filled with vodka.

The US Food and Drug Administration (USFDA) issued a warning for the Astro Vibe Blue Razz pressure of the beverage.

The mixture arrived after filling the empty Celsius boxes of a packaging supplier with alcohol to Vodka Seltzer Company with alcohol.

Celsius boxes include Lot codes UPC 8 89392 00134 1 retail code:

  • L CCB 02JL25 2:55 to L CCB 02JL25 3:11

Lot codes are laserized under the tin boxes.

“Consumers are advised to eliminate Celsius Astro Vibe Energy Drink, Foam Blue Razz Edition boxes with Lot codes affected and do not consume the fluid.” He said.

High Noon Beach Type Packages with Different Lot codes are not affected by the recall and it is safe to consume.
