Cement truck crash cuts off Bruce Highway near Brisbane
A cement truck rolled over on the Bruce Highway after colliding with a luxury car, cutting off northbound lanes for hours and bringing traffic to a halt for miles.
While 4 people escaped from the wrecked Audi with minor injuries, the truck driver had mild shoulder pain.

The truck and car crashed on the highway near the Uhlmann Road off-ramp around 10 a.m. Friday.
Images of the crash scene showed the Audi displaying a P plate on the dashboard.
One patient was taken to Caboolture Hospital in a stable condition.
Two hours later, the northbound section of the motorway remained closed as emergency services worked to remove the truck.

Two fire crews were called to the scene, but only one remained by noon. Tow trucks were dispatched to the scene to remove the vehicle.
Traffic was being directed south of the crash site.
Drivers are asked to avoid the area and seek alternative routes.
