Fire crews thaw rapper Drake’s giant ice installation in Toronto

The giant ice installation commissioned by rapper Drake to promote his upcoming album caused a stir in Toronto, Canada.
Fire crews began thawing the ice blocks, citing “dangerous and unsafe activities.” This comes after fans began using blowtorches, sledgehammers and other tools to reveal the album’s release date.
Mayor Olivia Chow told reporters Wednesday morning that she supports the fire department’s decision to melt the ice.
