Lokesh Promises Swift Solutions at His 88th Praja Darbar

Vijayawada: Continuing to help people, AP Education and IT Minister Nara Lokesh organized the 88th edition of Praja Darbar at Telugu Desam Party’s head office in Mangalagiri on Tuesday.

Citizens and party workers from various parts of the state met the minister and submitted a wide range of petitions. He interacted with them cordially and assured them of immediate action on their concerns.

The key issues raised include those raised by villagers of Bollavaram, Tatipadu and Bhaskarapuram in Jupadu mandal of Nandyal district. They requested removal of approximately 72 acres of heritage land from the prohibited list under Section 22(A)(1)(C), stating that this situation was causing difficulty to them. Lokesh assured them that the matter would be looked into and necessary steps would be taken.

Representatives of Andhra Pradesh Two-Wheeler Workers Welfare Association urged the minister to resolve the problems faced by nearly eight lakh two-wheeler mechanics across the state. Similarly, members of the Mudiraj community also called for the establishment of a private company for their welfare. The Minister responded positively and promised to review all representations and work towards resolving them.

Earlier, Lokesh praised social activist Vijay Kalam, founder of Vibrants of Kalam Trust, for participating in a 1,000 km cycling tour from Tirupati to Visakhapatnam to raise awareness about the harmful effects of drug addiction. The initiative titled “Drug Free Andhra Pradesh Mission Dandi Mart 2.0” has already covered 549 km.

Reiterating the state government’s commitment to public welfare, the minister said the Praja Darbar platform will continue to act as a bridge between the administration and the people.
