The opportunity may be great, but starting a healthcare business presents completely different challenges than running an e-commerce platform. One of the challenges for SuperTails will be to scale healthcare without sacrificing quality, especially in a market where vets are scarce. There are more than 100,000 veterinarians in India, but only a small number work in pet care; most work in livestock, poultry and agriculture.
