Two Indian films – Rishab Shetty’s ‘Kantara: A Legend – Chapter 1’ and Anupam Kher’s ‘Tanvi The Great’ have joined the list of 201 feature films nominated for the 98th Oscars by taking a strategic approach towards global recognition. According to Variety , the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences (AMPAS) has announced the 201 eligible films that qualify directly for the prestigious Best Picture race. According to the Academy, films awarded Best Picture met all additional eligibility requirements beyond the general entry requirements.
