Intel announced a new one on Thursday computer chips It is scheduled to launch in laptops next year, as the chip maker struggles to turn around its struggling business.
The company said that the new Panther Lake processor is produced with 18A technology and is the most advanced node produced on US soil.
The next generation chips will be produced at Intel’s Fab 52 facility in Arizona, and it was stated that the company is now fully operational and ready to increase production.

Intel’s latest announcement comes at a critical time for the beleaguered chip maker, which has lagged behind in recent years and is struggling to keep up with demands for cutting-edge chips spurred by the artificial intelligence revolution.
