Singer Sia’s estranged husband demanded a significant sum of money for spousal support, legal fees and other expenses during the painful months of divorce after their child’s strange name was revealed.

Daniel Bernard, the second husband of the 49-year-old Australian singer (born Sia Kate Isobelle Furler), demanded from the judge a huge amount of $ 250,856 per month. TMZ.

But Bernard said the pop star spared no expense during their time together, including a 9,500-square-foot home in Toluca Lake, Los Angeles, where he staffed 10 to 12 staff, including a butler, personal chefs, a stylist, two masseuses, maids and even an IT worker.

The estranged spouse estimated living expenses in legal documents to range from $400,000 to $500,000 per month.

He also said that Sia has been unemployed since April 1 with no source of income due to the termination of all funding for their joint business, Modern Medicine, including her salary.

Bernard also claims that his sole source of income is monthly payments from his famous ex via stipulated orders that only cover payments through October 1, 2025.

According to TMZ, Bernard said he wants the court to “level the playing field.”

Sia also checked the box to end the court’s authority to award spousal support to Bernard, but that did not deter her from seeking this relief.

Divorce papers filed on March 19 state that she had separated from Dan just one day earlier.

Before marrying Bernard, Sia became a mother to two teenage boys in 2019. Both were 18 at the time and about to leave the foster care system.

They started dating in December 2021 and married in 2023 in an intimate ceremony in Portofino, Italy.

Sia married documentary filmmaker Lang in August 2014 at his home in Palm Springs, California.

‘Please know that I am so lucky to have the resources to transform my appearance, and when you see me looking crazy foxy again, I want you to know that it’s not because of diet and exercise,’ she said.

This comes just two months after Sia revealed she had a face lift while addressing the audience at the awards ceremony.

During her speech, Sia talked about her struggles with body image and how she often hides her face.
