The murder of Charlie Kirk continues to impact many Americans and other people around the world.

Speaking on the subject recently “Nothing Left Unsaid” podcastNo. 1 New York Times bestselling author Jack Carr — a devoted father of three — said the Charlie Kirk assassination prompted him and his family to slow down and return to their roots.

“I think we, like a lot of people, were affected by the Charlie Kirk assassination,” Carr said.

“First, [we’re] I’m horrified that things like this happen. [across the country]”And we will put down the phones and go back to church like we did in the past,” he added.

Carr, like many people, said he and his wife knew immediately that “they were our kids.” [were] I bear witness to this.”

Given that Kirk’s murder was shown in real time online, “my kids saw it before I could get to them,” he said. “And that caused re-examination, not only from a lot of people there, but also from us as a family.”

He continued, “So we’re going to make some changes. We’ve been too busy with life.”

“The broadest message [of Charlie Kirk] It’s a matter of faith and family.”

“When our middle child was born, we stopped going to church because it was difficult to get him there because of his special needs. So that was difficult,” Carr said.

“Family dinners were difficult,” she added. “You have to take care of someone with special needs, and the other kids’ dinner is gone in five seconds… and you’re still trying to work, you know, basically work… and love. [all three] Children are the same.”
