Chase Stokes, Kelsea Ballerini reignite romance after 2025 split

Kelsea Ballerini and Chase Stokes ended 2025 by toasting to love and each other.
Ballerini, 32, confirmed her rekindled romance with the 33-year-old actor in a series of social media posts on New Year’s Eve, three months after the couple decided to separate.
In a carousel of photos posted on Instagram, the “Cowboys Also Cry” singer admitted that 2025 is “the most glittery, stress-rash-inducing year I’ve ever experienced.”

“I will always remember you,” she wrote.

While the “Outer Banks” actress was not present at the post, Ballerini locked lips with Stokes as she reflected on her “complicated year” and how she is now determined to break the mold.

“It’s a complicated year for the heart, a complicated year for outsiders, a complicated year that has become a description we don’t have,” he wrote.
“But the one thing I will say, and the only thing I really care to share now with my personal life forever, is that I truly love love.

“I believe in this, I believe in that, and I believe in breaking the mold. Now go kiss the other person and stop speculating.”
Stokes also reflected on the lessons he learned throughout the year and doubled down on his commitment to growth in 2026.

“One thing I’ve learned this year: Don’t take advantage of the best things that come and go in 33 years of life,” he wrote. “Take responsibility, learn from mistakes. Lean on love and say it often. 2026 is my year of growth, my year of truth. I start from here, I start now. Happy new year.”

In another photo shared on his stories, he wrote: “I crashed so hard that I shaved my head (again). Now it’s time to be funny on social media.”
Ballerini and Stokes split in September after nearly three years together.
The country singer’s rep confirmed the news people magazine.
“They are two adults who gave their all and did everything they could to make this work, but in the end they couldn’t make it happen. This is happening,” a source close to the couple told the news.
