Chelsea record pre-tax loss of £262.4m – the biggest in PL history

Chelsea The Premier League posted the biggest pre-tax loss in its history.
The £262m deficit in 2024-25 dwarfs the £179.5m Manchester City lost in 2011.
He says this is the second-highest total in the club’s history, despite Chelsea making £490.9 million in revenue.
The Blues won the UEFA Conference League and Club World Cup in 2024-25 and finished fourth in the Premier League.
The club insists on complying with financial regulations such as the Profit and Sustainability Rules (PSR), which allow losses of £105 million over three years.
The figures used to calculate this are different from pure pre-tax loss.
