Cheryl Hines fears for RFK Jr.’s safety amid growing political hatred

Secretary of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Robert F. Kennedy Jr.‘s wife, Cheryl Hines, admitted that she feared for her husband’s safety following the Charlie Kirk assassination.

Hines opened She spoke to Fox News about marrying into the Kennedy family, citing the importance of accepting different political viewpoints and expressing concern for her husband’s safety. Her memoir, “Unscripted,” which partially describes her life with Kennedy, will be published on November 11.

She reflected on how her husband, a former Democrat, became independent and President Donald Trump had a number of similar goals and decided to cooperate, placing Kennedy “in the middle of the Republican administration.”

“Someone said, ‘Oh, you’re stupid, you don’t know what you’re doing!’ Instead of saying, if he didn’t vote the way you voted. — ‘Why did you vote for this person?’ or ‘Why do you believe this about this issue?’ Then really explain what their reactions are, because maybe you’ll start to understand each other better.”

Hines explained that the “Make America Healthy Again” movement is about a lifestyle rather than making sure every decision one makes in their daily habits is perfect.

Although Hines says she is as MAHA as her husband, she does say that he is fond of some foods that his husband does not like.

“Overall, as the days go by, you’re trying to make the healthiest choices and trying to do what’s best for your body to keep you healthy,” she said. “That’s basically it.”

Kennedy’s wife expressed pride in her husband’s work to bring health to Americans and said it was “easy” to be accepted into the Kennedy family from the moment they met.

“It’s so amazing that Bobby is leading this MAHA movement where you watch some of the things he’s accomplished, like getting rid of petroleum-based dyes in food, getting rid of ingredients in our food that other countries don’t allow, looking at baby food and getting rid of arsenic and lead in it,” he said. “When you see some of these accomplishments, first of all, you wonder why things are the way they are, but secondly, I’m really proud that Bobby is the one who has taken on that responsibility.”
