Kevin Keegan diagnosed with cancer: Former England player and manager undergoing treatment

Former England striker and coach Kevin Keegan was diagnosed with cancer.
Keegan had a stellar playing career that included stints at Liverpool, Hamburg and Newcastle United, and won the European Player of the Year award twice.
After completing his playing career, he moved into coaching and was in charge of Newcastle United, Fulham, England and Manchester City.
“Kevin was recently admitted to hospital for further evaluation of ongoing abdominal symptoms,” the 74-year-old’s family said in a statement. he said.
“These investigations revealed the cancer diagnosis for which Kevin will receive treatment.
“Kevin is grateful to the medical team for their intervention and ongoing care.
“The family requests privacy during this difficult time and will have no further comment.”
