CCTV footage shows two men filling a jerrycan with fuel before a fatal house fire that killed a mother and her three children.
Bryonie Gawith, 29, along with her children Denisty Birtle, nine, five, and Aubree Birtle, 22 months Oscar Birtle died from injuries sustained in a fire on Westbury Road in Bradford in August 2024.
Sharaz Ali, 40, set fire to Ms Gawith’s house after her former partner Antonia, Bryonie’s sister, ended their “abusive” relationship earlier that month. Antonia managed to escape the burning property.
Calum Sunderland, 26, went to the house with Ali and kicked in the door for Ali.
At Doncaster Crown Court on Wednesday, November 10, Ali, of Langbar Avenue, was found guilty of four counts of murder and one count of attempted murder. Sunderland, of Calton Street, was found guilty of four counts of manslaughter.
