China ‘biggest threat’ can ‘flip the killswitch’ anytime on tech | World | News

A Cyber Security Specialist issued a sharp warning with China’s ability to activate a ‘killing’ in the US electric infrastructure, when China revealed the most important technological danger for Western countries.
After this revelation, the United States launched multiple investigations about the technology produced by China, and various studies, including natural gas pipelines and power networks, revealed ‘malicious, mysterious computer codes’, which can be activated remotely to crippled the vital infrastructure.
Arnie Bellini, the founding partner and former general manager of Connectwise, believes that Chinese technology companies often continue to closely ties with the Chinese Communist Party officials, considering that it is a regime that repeatedly declares the intention to weaken the US and Western nations, it represents the most severe threat of America.
Bellini issued a sharp warning about the risks of integrating Chinese technology into critical infrastructure: “Iran is warming up for what we will encounter from China. We buy equipment from China. We already put our infrastructure for Pejing and put our electrical systems in our electrical systems.
“We use them for video surveillance cameras … Not good. None of this is good. So Chinese manufacturers – very much people do not think they understand exactly how China works, but very interesting and very simple – all the big producers, almost all of them are financed or sponsored by the government.”
“There are government subsidies. There are government officials on the board of directors. And this is not strange in a country, except that it is a communist party that promises to take over the United States.
Beody traps
“You can’t believe anything they say. They’re always lying. They’re cheating and playing. Liars, scammers and Stealers – governments, people wonderful, I love them. The government is lying, deceiving and stealing from their people forever.
“They put all of these established Bubi traps and many things we bought ‘Call to Beijing’.”
Claims for the products containing killing switches or spyware, industrial robot dogs from Unitree GO1, from ship to shore cranes (ZPMC), solar inverters and batteries, Bluetooth/Wi-Fi chips, surveillance cameras (Hikvision & Dahua), Transformation and Dahpisicing.
Hidden back door
Security experts revealed a hidden back door in Unitree Robotics’s GO1 robot dogs produced in China in April of this year. This rear door represents a hidden software component that provides hidden remote access and command of devices.
Upon the Internet connection, the robot automatically creates a connection to Unitree’s servers through a tunnel service operated by Cloudsail, a remote management platform from ZHEXI Technology. This hidden path allows remote operation through an API switch, camera infiltration and system penetration.
The issue of power transformatives proves that Beijing may disable electrical networks and cause widespread deductions in the West, especially as “killing switches”. It serves as vital components that convert direct current (DC) to the alternative current (AC) used by power inverters, solar panels or wind turbines.
Sun killing switches
These ‘Kill Switch’ programs have been discovered in equipment in American solar installations. In 2023, US officials, especially Shanghai Zhenhua Heavy Industries Co. (ZPMC) produced by China produced by the increasing discomfort compared to the cranes.
According to WSJ, these cranes are operational in many American ports, some of which are of military importance.
These cranes are equipped with advanced sensors and software designed to monitor and manage containers. The concern between US authorities is that these features can be manipulated to monitor the sensitive cargo movement, including military equipment, and thus give China information about US logistics and military operations.
Business continues despite risks
In recent years, most of these cranes have been sold or returned because of these security concerns. However, Bellini says that most of these products have been purchased or sold by US companies who want to avoid making ‘big smell’.
Bellini supported President Donald Trump’s attempt to increase domestic production, which aims to reduce the confidence in imported technology. “Fortunately, the Trump administration recognizes it and is doing something about it.” He said.
“We cannot secure America with the infrastructure made by our competitors. Every transformer, crane or camera built in China is a potential listening device or killing.
The Department of Internal Security even continues a web page to monitor such security violations.
Despite ongoing efforts and comprehensive research, Bellini warns China that the threat of digital espionage remains permanent. “We buy it, right?
