China’s Moon Lander For Crew Run Through Touchdown And Takeoff Tests

The lunar lander is called “Lanyue” (Embracing the Moon), and according to the China Manned Space Agency (CMSA), this “marks the first time China has conducted a test of extraterrestrial landing and takeoff of a manned spacecraft.” The tests were conducted in Huailai County in northern China’s Hebei province.
