China’s Mysterious Ekranoplan Seen In Full For First Time

We take our first full view of China’s wing effect on the ground (WIG). Last week, our friend and submarine war analyst Hi Sutton were defined by Hi Sutton. You can read the first post at this address Sea News Here. Initially, the nose section was detected in an image hidden. In this image, flying boat -body planes were depicted while sitting on a pier on the Northwest Access of the South China Sea.

As we discussed Many times before the Soviet Union It is famous for its experiments and semi -operational use of the big wig craft known as screenses. Talent and tactical concepts surrounding it have never been caught in the most Masse, but for large wig aircraft, we are experiencing a kind of Renaissance that aims to compete with relative efficiency and speed above the thick air (most of them can fly less efficiently at higher altitude). The United States develops Liberty Lifer, the hoping that it can be used to deliver heavy cargo, personnel and materials to very distant places in the large widths of the Pacific. In doing so, it will help to reduce some of the upcoming logistics of Pentagon to fight in such a large theater.

If these mysterious planes are tested by China, they are loosely similar to what we see in new amphibious flying boats, AG600Especially the southern China Sea supply, search and rescue and other tasks aim to perform. This wig aircraft seems ideal for similar applications in littorals.

Using a thick airbag on the water to reduce low -flying flights, lifting and dragging, the aircraft remains below the surface/black -based radar horizon. It is not vulnerable to mines, submarines, and other dangers that can be hidden even in lower threat waters, considering that it is not a boat, but a plane. Nevertheless, it would not have survived a very controversial warfare, but if a war between the United States and China would explode, unlike the United States, it would have fought in its backyard. Large areas extending from the shores will remain easily accessible throughout the time. This is the place where such a plane will be beneficial even in a high-level fight-providing logistics support to long regions, and in particular in the recovery of the downward aircraft crew and other personnel. Even anti -submarine war practices are real possibilities.

The biggest claim surrounding this plane is that it works with jet. The image of the back seems to point to this, but then we thought it was very inconclusive because the propellers might have been designed for it, but it seems not yet stuck. Nevertheless, the exhausts looked great for a turboprop. These new paintings from the front may also be spindles in front of the motor nacels that will indicate the resultless and propellers, or at least a kind of increase. There are also top entries, which means two major entrances per jet, if it were working with jet, it seems strange. It is also possible for this to use a new hybrid-electric drive system that can make very sense for such aircraft. Regardless, these are low -resolution images that are rarely rare, and the aircraft can be strengthened with jet, but important question mark for us.

As for the rest of the aircraft, there is a large -added v tail that is not rare for wig craft. The wings have a large whisking wing Float sponsor in the tips, and the body seems to have smaller sponsors. The nose is perhaps the most exotic element and at least it appears to be blended for modern productivity. The aircraft explores the heavy use of composite structures that allow limited signature control in weight savings, aerodynamic increase and a by -product. In addition, we see a common flying boat stepped body and a larger door next to it, which will be useful to pull the cargo and save the staff.

It should also be noted that this aircraft may be a very good technology demonstrator to test various design elements. It may even be a substitution or at least to inform the larger designs. In this note, the Pentagon’s Liberty lifting is open to very large wig craft.

Here, as Sutton said, the “Bohai Sea Monster” has the first full look. As with new aircraft outside China, we should see a regular flow of higher resolution images of this craft in the coming weeks.
