Himaşal Pradesh Prime Minister Sukhvinder announced that he would give a great Diwali gift to the employees of the State Government of the State Government. The salary of the mayor of the municipal company was increased from 1,000 RUPI to 25,000 RUPI, the salary of the deputy mayor to 19,000 RUPI from 1,000 RUPI to 19,000 RUPI and the salary of the council members from 1,000 Rupi to 9,400 Rupi. The statement said that the state government also increased the salary of 300 rupees per month and the salary of information technology teachers.
