Megastar Chiranjeevi is expected to start his 158th film with director Bobby Kolli soon. Sources indicate that the muhurat ceremony may be held on an auspicious date after April 20.
According to buzz in the industry, the launch has been delayed slightly as Chiranjeevi wanted to give some breathing room to the makers KVN Productions, who are currently dealing with issues related to the online leak of their Tamil film Jana Nayagan. The actor reportedly advised the team to resolve the situation before proceeding with the new project.
Chiranjeevi, a producer himself, is said to understand the impact of piracy and the losses it inflicts on manufacturers and distributors. He has previously expressed his strong opposition to such practices and even participated in awareness initiatives against film piracy with the Hyderabad Police.
After the success of Waltair Veerayya with Bobby, the duo aims to create another commercial entertainer. The upcoming film is expected to be an action drama with a strong family atmosphere. While actress Priyamani is expected to play Chiranjeevi’s wife, Preity Mukhundhan is also said to be playing the role of Chiranjeevi’s daughter.
