Chris Pratt gets Santa portrait painting from Arnold Schwarzenegger

Chris Pratt received a unique Christmas gift from his father-in-law.
Recently “The Graham Norton ShowThe 46-year-old actor shared the unique gift he received from his father-in-law Arnold Schwarzenegger.
“His love language is giving gifts. That’s for sure, he does his best,” she said. “One of them this year was like a 6-foot-by-8-foot portrait painting of my three kids and him playing Santa Claus. And it’s so realistic and so big, and he’s playing Santa, and then the three kids are watching him from around the Christmas tree eating cookies.”
Pratt admitted that he was “not quite sure what we should do with it for the rest of the year” due to its size, adding that they would probably “unveil it sometime in November.”

In addition to the “very thoughtful gift,” Pratt shared that Arnold also gifted him a pair of boots he wore in a movie.
Pratt is married to Katherine Schwarzenegger, the daughter of the former governor of California, and the couple have three children: Lyla, 5, Eloise, 3, and Ford, 1. Pratt is also the father of 13-year-old Jack, whom he shares with ex-wife Anna Faris.
The “Guardians of the Galaxy” star celebrated Jack’s 13th birthday on Instagram in August 2025, sharing photos of the two on various outings, including feeding animals, wearing matching Dodgers jerseys and watching a Detroit Lions game.
“I have a teenager???” Pratt wrote on the photos he shared Instagram stories. “Jack, I can’t believe you are 13 years old today. I have seen you grow into an incredible young man and I am truly proud of the person you have become.”

During his appearance in March “The Fox and His Friends” Pratt described how his son’s premature birth in 2012 strengthened his bond with his faith by making “deals with God” to save his son. Jack was born seven weeks early and weighed just 3lb 10oz.
“The most moving moment was when my son was born,” he explained. “He was born prematurely and had some health issues, and at that moment, like you do when you pray, I really made some deals with God and felt like I would give you anything if you saved my son.”

Pratt previously received backlash in November 2021 when he thanked Katherine for providing him with a “healthy daughter,” which many believed was insensitive towards Faris.

“To me, the emphasis on ‘healthy child’ like your first child was less in your eyes,” one commenter wrote. “You should go and read that sentence in His eyes and apologize to Him because your words were cruel, Dude…”
His mother-in-law, Maria Shriver, defended him in the face of backlash, reminding him in the comments section, “You are such a good man and such a great father to Jack and Lyla.”

“What a great husband you are to Katherine…what a great son-in-law you are to me and what a great sense of humor you have,” he wrote. “Get over the noise. Your family loves you. What a great life. I’m proud of you.”
