Christina Haack’s co-parenting success with Tarek El Moussa and Ant Anstead

Christina Haack figured out how to be friends with her two ex-husbands.
Haack, 42, opened up about her unlikely friendship with both Tarek El Moussa and Ant Anstead as she goes through another messy divorce from her third husband.
“Everyone who is truly in a co-parenting situation needs to want to make it,” she said People. “People text me all the time saying, ‘How did you do this? My husband’s ex hates me,’ or ‘I could never hang out with my ex.'”
Haack has learned to parent El Moussa with her kids Taylor and Brayden, and has even thrown new boyfriend Chris Larocca into the mix. “It takes all of us, and there are four people in this situation right now — me, my boyfriend Chris, Tarek, and Heather — and we all want to get along,” she explained. “We all work hard to make sure we get along.”

The HGTV star noted that it’s something both she and El Moussa are naturally inclined to do.
“I’m really good at letting go of the past, and so is Tarek,” said Haack, who was married to El Moussa from 2009 to 2018. he said. “We can finish something in exactly 0.5 seconds and never want to talk about it again.”
“So I think it’s just a maturity level and we put the kids first and then it’s pretty easy to do the rest,” he added.

Haack credits her split from her third ex-husband, Josh Hall, with helping her improve their relationship. Hack and Hall They filed their respective divorce petitions in July 2024, each citing irreconcilable differences as the reason for the end of their marriage. They finalized their divorce in August.
After a difficult divorce from Anstead, with whom Haack shares a son, he finally found middle ground with the TV host. Anstead and Haack were married from 2018 to 2021.

“When Josh and I broke up, Ant and I immediately had a heart-to-heart conversation and he said: ‘I want to co-parent Hudson. Like you and Tarek do.’ Not those exact words, but he said, ‘I want to have a great co-parenting relationship with you,'” she explained to the outlet.
Deciding to make a “fresh start”, the couple spends time with their son Hudson.
“We go to football games. We sit next to each other at school. We have birthday parties together,” Haack said. “And thank God, because it would make me so sad if Hudson didn’t get to have these things around us growing up.”

Although unusual, Haack said teamwork has allowed families to be closer than ever.
“I think my kids love knowing that anyone can come here and we can have Christmas together and party together,” she said. “So it’s nice for the kids. It’s not weird at all. It’s great.”
