Cipla to enter into weight management segment in India, says MD Umang Vohra

Umang Vohra, MD and global CEO of drug producer Cipla, announced that the company plans to enter the weight management segment in India.

Pharma Major also strengthens its presence in the Central Nervous System (CNS) therapeutic field in its 2024-25 year report.

“Our efforts are due to understanding patient needs, reducing stigmatization and providing differentiated treatments for niche indications … Obesity emerges as a priority area for jeep. With a clear strategic intention, we are preparing to enter the segment of weight management in India and aim to address the rising demand for effective obesity solutions.” He said.
