Trump Asks Iranians To ‘Keep Protesting’, Says ‘Help Is On Its Way’ – Is Tehran Next For US Military? | World News

Iran Protests 2026: US President Donald Trump on Tuesday called on “Iranian patriots” to continue their protests and even called on them to “take over” key institutions. His remarks come at a time when Iran has been witnessing mass protests across the country for several days, with several deaths reported during the unrest.

Previously, Trump stated that the USA was ready to help the Iranians and published this message on social media. According to an IANS report, he had warned Iran not to kill protesters.

In a post on Truth Social, Trump said he was canceling all meetings with Iranian officials and added “help is on the way.”

“Iranian Patriots, KEEP PROTESTING – STATE YOUR INSTITUTIONS!!! Hide the names of the murderers and abusers. They will pay a high price. I have canceled all meetings with Iranian officials until the senseless killing of protesters STOP. HELP IS ON THE WAY. MIGA!!!” Trump wrote.

The term “MIGA” used in his post appears to stand for “Make Iran Great Again,” an extension of the slogan “MAGA” (Make America Great Again).

It is especially noteworthy that this coded message from Trump came a few days after US forces launched an operation in Venezuela and captured Venezuelan leader Nicolas Maduro and his wife Cilia Flores. After the arrest, both Maduro and his wife were brought to the United States.

Iran’s Exiled Prince Calls on Trump to Take Action

Iran’s exiled crown prince Reza Pahlavi had previously called on US President Trump to take action “sooner rather than later” against Iran’s religious leaders as protests continued across the country.

Meanwhile, Reuters reported that approximately 2,000 people lost their lives in the incidents.

“Action is needed,” Pahlavi said in an interview with CBS News on Monday, according to ANI.

“The best way to ensure they are killed in Iran is to intervene sooner so that this regime eventually collapses and puts an end to all the problems we face,” he said.

He said he was in contact with the Trump administration, although he did not disclose details of the talks.

Pahlavi has been living in exile since his father, the last shah of Iran, was overthrown in the 1979 Islamic Revolution that brought the current system to power.
