Citi Shuffles EMEA Debt Capital Markets Team With Hire

(Bloomberg) – Citigroup Inc, England, Europe, Middle East and Africa reshape the capital markets team and as part of the changes, the old JPMorgan Chase & Co. Banker Rob Cascarino hired.

Cascarino will be co -chairman for London and EMEA for England and EMEA, as well as Uday Malhotra, the head of the region’s loans and leveraged finance teams. According to an internal note shared with Bloomberg News, they will both report to the president of DCM Richard Zogheb.

In JPMorgan, Cascarino led a global team that focused on funding and asset levels and risk management solutions and previously served as Chief Business Officer for EMEA Redurable Finance.

Paul Gibbs, former president of Citi’s EMEA DCM, will play a new role that controls the bank’s global infrastructure, transportation and private financial businesses. Business presidents David Dubin, Thomas Bliemel and Miguel Picache will report to him directly.

William Weaver, International Vice President DCM, will continue as the role of DCM, the United Kingdom and EMEA region and globally dominant, dominant and agency customers will focus on consultancy, he said.

Bloomberg reached Cascarino and Gibbs. Malhotra refrained from commenting.

Since Cascarino is trying to increase Citi’s share of the global investment banking wallet wallet, Vis Raghavan has been the last of a banker who joined Citigroup since his appointment as the President of the Banking in 2024.
