CJI pays tribute to Justice Krishna Iyer

The lawyer Vr Krishna Iyer devoted his life to supporting the strengthening of social justice, human rights and the strengthening of the marginal departments of the society, and reminded the Chief Justice of India (CJI) Br Gavai.

Mr. Iyer would be remembered for his commitment to the poor and inadequate segments of society.

The lawyer played a key role in developing judicial activism through the Public Degree Case (PIL) and constantly stopped for a positive action. Gavai also approved the rights of the prisoners and enabled them to be treated with dignity and compassion.

At the address, the Supreme Court of Kerala remembered Mr. Iyer as the voice of silence. Mr. Iyer said that he was successful as a lawyer, lawyer, minister and social reformer, and he was also a crusader for civilian freedoms.

Kerala Supreme Court Judge Devan Ramachandran said that Mr. Iyer democratized forensic drugs and gave rise to the concepts of PIL and Epistos judicial powers. His devotion to human rights touched the Indian case -law based on international conventions and through Hermeneutic humanism.

K. Balakrishnan Nair and Sananad Ramakrishnan, the president and secretary of Krishna Satamaya Foundation of Law and Justice, also spoke.
