Clarkson’s Farm star Harriet Cowan is rushed to hospital as she reveals she has chopped her finger off in horror accident

Harriet Cowan has revealed she was rushed to hospital on Monday after the tip of her finger was amputated in a horrific accident that required emergency surgery.
The 24-year-old star of Clarkson’s Farm posted several graphic photos of the injury before surgery, snapping his fingers after it was stitched back up and telling followers he ‘encountered the log splitter’.
He wrote: ‘I’m sorry for remaining silent! It was a terrible week. I came across a log splitter, cut off the tip of my finger, but with a quick surgery they stitched it back on!
Harriet added that the lambing season has started now and thanked the medical team who treated her, writing: ‘Lambing starts now. A big thank you to the amazing team at Pulvertaft hand clinic.’
It comes after the star launched a brand new Channel 4 show away from the popular reality series last month.
The popular docuseries, which follows Jeremy Clarkson running Diddly Squat Farm in the Cotswolds, debuted on Amazon Prime in 2021 and has run five series.

The leading roles include names such as Jeremy, Kaleb Cooper, Lisa Hogan, Charlie Ireland and Gerald Cooper.
Nurse and farmer Harriet Cowan, 24, joined the cast of the fourth series last year in Kaleb’s absence.
But now he has taken on a new role on another programme: a presenting role on Channel 4’s Little Farmers.
The official press release stated: ‘Tiny Farmers sees Harriet and Jessica join chicken experts Avril and Michael as they share how to spot a happy chicken and offer insight into an egg’s journey from farm to table.
‘Meanwhile, four children struggle to become future egg farmers; From taking on the challenge of caring for chickens to showing off their cooking skills, this digital content will show how tiny farmers fare.
‘Will they thrive under pressure or will they struggle?’
Comedian Jessica Knappett will accompany the star in the program, which starts on January 19, 2026 on the TV channel’s YouTube channel.
Stephen Parnell, Channel 4’s Digital Commissioning Manager, said of the new programme: ‘Harriet and Jessica’s infectious enthusiasm comes to life as they create a wonderful bond with our young contestants as they compete to impress both hens and hosts.

Last year, Harriet announced she was quitting her job as a nurse as her new career began.
After working as an assistant at Diddly Squat Farm, Harriet said she had a ‘bug’ for farming and it was her only career.
For the past few years, Harriet has been balancing two jobs, explaining that she worked long hours as a nurse before switching to farm supply to tend to the land and animals at her family’s place.
The flamboyant farmer stole the show in series four when he appeared on screen to help out Diddly Squat Farm while Jeremy’s usual sidekick Kaleb Cooper was away.
Harriet, from Belper, Derbyshire, She also confirmed that she will use her extra free time to launch a career on YouTube with her channel ‘Harriet On The Farm’.
Harriet explained: ‘The cat somehow got out of the bag. That’s right, I don’t breastfeed anymore because I seem to have caught the bug.
‘You definitely know what the bug is, yes I’ve caught the farming bug. I always had it, but as you know, I didn’t have any other income before.
‘The wait is over, Harriet from the farm is coming your way on August 31st. ‘I’ll do bank shifts and still work in the NHS but yeah, not every day.’
