Jason Kelce goes shirtless in belly bucking competition before Eagles game

Jason Kelce once again showed why he is a legend in Philadelphia ahead of the Eagles’ Black Friday game against the Chicago Bears.

The Eagles’ legendary center was participating in a belly-butting contest with fans in the parking lot outside Lincoln Financial Field on Friday afternoon.

Belly shaking is similar to sumo wrestling, but no hands are allowed and apparently shirts aren’t allowed either.

Kelce is no stranger to being shirtless at tailgates before football games, and he was a man of the people when he stepped into the ring in a video posted on X by “New Heights,” the podcast hosted by Kelce and his brother Travis Kelce.

Wearing an ill-fitting Eagles helmet, Kelce easily defeated his opponent and began celebrating with several other shirtless competitors.

There was another video of Kelce refereeing a separate belly-button competition and hyping up the participants before calling the start. This may occur elsewhere in the future, with a film crew on hand for Kelce’s turn in competition.

But when the real rivalry began Friday night at The Linc, it wasn’t Eagles fans cheering at the end of the day.

Caleb Williams and the Bears won a crucial game on the road and silenced some skeptics who questioned their 8-3 record compared to the Eagles’ identical record in the Prime Video matchup.

Chicago’s defense caused Jalen Hurts and Philadelphia’s offensive problems throughout the game as the Bears beat the Eagles 24-15 on points from both running backs (D’Andre Swift and Kyle Monangai). Monangai rushed for 130 yards on 22 carries, while Swift rushed for 125 yards on 18 touches and gashed an Eagles defense that has been one of the best in the NFL this season.

AJ Brown, a polarizing figure for his lack of targets all season, found the end zone twice for the Eagles. However, this was not enough for a comeback victory.

Williams also caught tight end Cole Kmet’s 28-yard touchdown pass, which opened the game and left fans, including Kelce, stunned by what happened in South Philly.

As the Eagles look to rebound next week, Jason Kelce will be in their corner, hoping to repeat the Super Bowl title. His brother’s Kansas City Chiefs lost 31-28 on the road to the Dallas Cowboys on Thanksgiving Day, falling to 6-6.
