Ladakh violence: SC notice to Centre, Ladakh UT on Sonam Wangchuk’s wife’s plea challenging detention

On Monday, the Supreme Court requested a response from Ladakh’s Central and Unity Region in an objection that challenged the detention of the climate activist by Sonam Wangchuk’s wife Gitanjali J Angmo within the scope of the National Security Law.
However, Aravind Kumar and NV Anjaria Justice refused to pass the order of Wangchuk’s wife to detention reasons for his wife, and published the issue for a hearing on October 14th.
Wangchuk was detained on September 26, two days after the protests requesting states, on September 26, within the scope of the Strict National Security Law (NSA), and the sixth program status for Ladakh died of four people and wounded 90 in the Union Region.
Wangchuk is located in Jodhpur prison in Rajasthan.
