Rep. Maxwell Frost allegedly assaulted at Sundance Film Festival

A member of Congress was allegedly attacked while attending the Sundance Film Festival in Park City, Utah, on Friday evening.
“Last night, I was attacked at the Sundance Festival by a man who said Trump was going to deport me before punching me in the face,” Rep. Maxwell Frost, D-Fla., wrote on X on Saturday.
Frost added that the suspect “was heard drunkenly making racist remarks as he ran away.”
The man was arrested and was not injured in the incident, Frost said.

“We thank venue security and the Park City Police Department for their assistance with this incident,” he added.
House Democratic Leader Hakeem Jeffries responded to the news about

“Hate and political violence have no place in our country, and the entire House Democratic Caucus stands with Maxwell,” Jeffries continued.

It was stated that the alleged attack took place at a party hosted by CAA talent party at High West Saloon and the suspect crashed. Diversity.
The suspect allegedly bragged about being “White” in the bathroom before punching Frost in the face, the outlet reported.
He has not yet been identified.
