Coalition feeling pressure to back Labor’s environment reforms

PRESSURE ON COALITION TO REVERSE ENVIRONMENTAL LAWS
This morning we pick up where we left off yesterday, with Labour’s environmental reforms dominating the hearings.
Minister of Environment on Monday Murray Watt It has published the final parts of government legislation amending federal environmental laws that are scheduled to be introduced to parliament on Thursday.
Like Australian Financial Review The plans also include giving the minister the ability to “approve major projects such as mines and renewable energy even if they do not comply with laws deemed to be in the public interest”.
