Colbert, Talarico, CBS and the creeping control of Donald Trump

CBS’s embattled late-night talk show host Stephen Colbert launched a new salvo at the convoluted and nefarious actions of the Trump administration and the new right-wing ownership of CBS parent company Paramount. Colbert accused management of pressuring CBS lawyers to block him from hosting a Democratic politician from Texas on his show.

Colbert mentioned this to the studio audience. Registration Monday afternoon (US time)she said: “Then I was told in some vague terms that not only could I not wear it, but I also couldn’t talk about not wearing it.”
