Coldplay kiss cam Kristin Cabot has some fun in the sun ahead of her keynote speech at the crisis communications conference in Washington DC

The Astronomer’s former HR manager was photographed enjoying a day at the beach on Friday (February 13) in Miami, Florida.

In the photos, the 53-year-old mother of two is seen showing off her toned abs in a baby blue bikini, which she paired with a large sun hat and a pair of sunglasses, as well as several chains around her neck, gold jewelry on her wrists and another pair of sunglasses in her hand.

It can be seen that she is cooling down and supporting the waves as she stands in ankle-deep water.

Cabot first gained national attention when a video of her and her then-boss, former Astronomer CEO Andy Byron, enjoying a romantic moment at a Coldplay concert went viral in 2025.

The two were caught getting cozy with each other on the Jumbotron, and when he realized the attention was on them, Cabot immediately turned around and ran away from the camera, while Byron walked out of frame.

“They’re either in a relationship or they’re too shy,” Martin joked as the audience laughed.

Following the scandal, Cabot tendered her resignation as head of HR at Astronomer, while Byron first went on leave and then resigned.

In an interview with The New York Times in December 2025, Cabot described the now-famous night and what it cost him.

“I made a bad decision and had several lunches, dances and inappropriate behavior with my boss,” Cabot said. “And that’s nothing. I took responsibility and gave up my career for it. That’s the price I choose to pay. I want my kids to know that you can make mistakes and really mess up. But you don’t need to be threatened with being killed for them.”

Reminding that she had previously opened up to Byron about the problems in her marriage and that he was “going through the same things”, the woman added that this confession “strengthened our bond”. She remembered him kissing her for the first time and putting his arms around her after they had a few drinks at the concert.

He said that when they appeared on screen it was “as if someone had pressed a button” and that he felt “so embarrassed”. Intense scrutiny on social media followed; Cabot said his personal information was deleted and he was receiving more than 500 calls a day, as well as death threats.

“My children were afraid that I was going to die, and they were going to die too,” he said.

Cabot will talk about her experience as a keynote speaker at the “Reclaiming the Narrative” panel in London and how she was able to “take control of her narrative and rewrite her story” in the wake of the Coldplay scandal. PRWeek Crisis Communications Conference April 16 in Washington DC.

He will be accompanied on stage by journalist and communication expert Dini von Mueffling.

“Kristin Cabot’s life was blown up in an instant while she was attending a Coldplay concert in July and unknowingly appeared on the kiss cam for a few seconds,” the event description read. “Online harassment, constant death threats and 300 billion views to date: a never-ending media frenzy. From the outside it was an amusing, if unflattering, meme; but everything changed for him that day.”

It continued: “Cabot experienced firsthand the extremes of public shaming, a situation that women have long experienced when under negative media attention and that their male counterparts generally avoid. During this session, former Astronomer chief people officer and her PR representative, industry legend Dini von Mueffling, shares the strategy—both immediate and long-term—that helped Cabot take control of her narrative and rewrite her story.”
