His attendance at Monday’s national championship game marks another high-profile outing for the president, who has attended several major sporting events during his second term.
In April, Trump sat next to UFC president Dana White outside the octagon at UFC 314 in Miami and two months later at UFC 316 in New Jersey. He also attended several events in September, including the Ryder Cub at Bethpage Black in New York and the New York Yankees game on September 11, 24 years after the September 11 attacks.

President Trump paid special attention to sports during his second term.
In December, he warned that the current name, image and likeness (NIL) situation was not sustainable and could pose a threat to college athletics, particularly sports other than football.
