Community reacts after more than 30 cars vandalized in Quincy

Quincy police say they find more 30 cars vandalized Saturday A few different places.

The surveillance video shows the suspect aiming at multiple cars in a wide -day light in the Newbury Street area of North Quince.

Police also found key cars on Hancock Street, Quincy Shore Drive and Commander Shea Boulevard.

Richie Coughlin, one of the victims of this crime madness, said that the Massachusetts state police joined Quiny detectives to gather evidence to find the responsible person.

“They got fingerprints out of my car because we had cameras here and they took good care of him and put his hands on my whole car, so they printed it.” “I have a police report about insurance, but yes this is a bad discomfort and the shooting of many people does not make sense.”

Cliord Dejean, a local priest in the Bethel Grace Restore Church, described the incident as “disturbing ..

“If such a thing happens, you feel good, okay, as I am myself or just with children, what could be me, so it’s really disturbing.”

Dejean also shared a message for the suspect.

“If you can find peace, try to find another way, but not to harm people or to do anything bad for other people who do not do anything to you, this is not really good.”

The police ask people in Northern Quince to check their surveillance cameras for a possible suspect walking around 8 am on Saturday.
