Conserving water resources will boost groundwater level, says Naidu

Prime Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu stressed that the level of groundwater can be increased by comprehensive protection of water resources.

The Prime Minister said that effective water management enables the state to store the capacity of 82% of reservoirs and dams this season. He said the charge of groundwater, excessive trust in deep drilling will lead to fluoride contamination and high power costs. Efficient use can reduce these costs by 50%.
Naidu said that water users should take responsibility for protection, charge and coordination with the authorities. High -level officials from the water resources department attended the conference. Minister of Water Resources Nimmala Rama Naidu joined Conference from Palakollu.
