Constable Dies of Heart Attack While Fleeing Bee Attack

– KURNOOL: A police constable died of suspected heart attack near Srisailam Dam in Nandyal district on Wednesday while trying to escape from a bee attack.
The deceased was identified as Pilli Veeraswamy (52), a Special Protection Force (SPF) police officer who was on duty at the dam.
According to sources, while he was on duty, a swarm of bees suddenly attacked him. Veeraswamy tried to escape to safety as the bees stung him repeatedly. It was reported that he had a heart attack and collapsed during the attempt.
Despite all the interventions made to him, he died at the scene. Preliminary reports suggest that panic triggered by the bee attack may have led to cardiac arrest.
The police officer’s sudden death caused great sadness to his family and colleagues.
