Constellation Brands (STZ) Q2 2026 earnings

Model Owner Constellation brands On Monday, the financial second quarter earnings report was beaten in the upper and bottom lines and reiterated the full -year guidance reduced due to macroeconomic winds.

The company’s shares increased by about 3% in extended transactions.

Based on a survey of LSEG’s analysts, how the company performance in the second quarter is described in compared to what Wall Street is waiting for:

  • Earning per share: $ 3.63 set and expected $ 3.38
  • Revenues: Expected $ 2.48 billion and $ 2.46 billion

For the period that ended on August 31st, the company reported a clear income per share when compared to a loss of $ 1.2 billion or $ 6,59 compared to the previous year or $ 2.65 per share. Excluding costs for restructuring and other products, Brewer reported $ 3.63 per share.

Constellation’s net sales fell by 15% to $ 2.48 billion from the same period last year, and the company’s business margin has dropped 200 basis points due to aluminum tariffs.

Bill Newlands, CEO, said in a statement, “while continuing to navigate in a challenging socioeconomic environment that reduces consumer demand, our teams continue to focus against our strategic goals, including distribution gains, disciplined innovation and investing behind our brands.” He said.

In September, Constellation announced that it reduced full financial guidance due to a “challenging macroeconomic environment”. He fell back to $ 12.90 from $ 12.60 to $ 11.60 from $ 12.60 to $ 11.60 and confirmed this view again.

The company also reiterated the previous organic net sales forecast for the 2026 fiscal year from the previous 1% growth expectation to 2%.

Previously, President Donald Trump has identified a lesser demand tendency than Spanish consumers, which he said was due to concerns about immigration policies and potential losses.
