Contaminated Water Behind Monsoon Food Poisoning in Schools: Parents

Adilabad:Contaminated water use in food preparation in schools and hostels caused various food poisoning events in the old Adilabad region during the monsoon last year.
The parents of the victims claim that the lack of control and the negligence of the personnel by the authorities resulted in food poisoning.
In a significant way, whether in internal or accessible spaces, the government uses the hostels for various purposes, including preparing the water provided under Mission Bhagiratha. In some pensions, the personnel uses water from Borewells on the hostel campus. In some other pensions, water is purchased for food preparation or drinking from private parties.
Mandal training authorities have claimed that after reopening this year, government pensions or schools have not yet supervised. Parents are afraid of lack of control in the preparation of meals in the middle of the day for schools or meals served in government pensions.
On Monday, five students of the Minority Housing School fell ill after eating a snack and had to be treated at a state hospital on Monday. Apart from this, no food poisoning event has yet been realized in the old Adilabad region regions this year.
The School Education Department has imposed some restrictions on eating foods purchased from outside.
Meanwhile, in December last year, 40 entrance Ashram school girls were ill for alleged food poisoning at Wankidi in Komaram Bheem Asifabad region. One of them died in Shailaja, NIMS, Haydarabad.
Later, four students from the same hostel became ill again for food poisoning.
Interestingly, the collectors of Komaram Bheem Asifabad and Adilabad remained twice in the hostels last year in the direction of the state government.
Parents demand increasing wakefulness to prevent such cases this year
