Convenors for Common Entrance Tests appointed

Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE) has appointed Convenors to conduct Common Entrance Examinations (CETs) for the academic year 2026-27.

Council secretary B. Tirupati Rao said on Tuesday that B. Durga Prasad, Professor of Mechanical Engineering, JNTU-Anantapur, will be the Convener of APECET (lateral entry to Engineering Diploma holders) to be held on April 23, 2026, while M. Shashi, Professor of Computer Science and Systems Engineering, Andhra University, will be the Convener of APICET (MBA and MCA) to be held on April 28. 2026 and P. Mallikarjuna Rao, Professor of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Andhra University, will be the Convener of APPGECET (M. Tech and M. Pharm) to be held on 29, 30 April and 2 May 2026.

Similarly, Professor of Law Sri Padmavati Mahila Viswa Vidyalayam, T. Sita Kumari will be the Convener of APLAWCET (LLB and LLM) to be held on May 4, D. Srinivas Kumar, Professor of Education, Dravidian University will be the Convener of APEDCET (B.Ed) to be held on May 4, V. Padmavathi, Professor of Organic Chemistry, Sri Venkateswara University. N. Mohan Rao, Professor of Mechanical Engineering from JNTU-Kakinada will be the Convener of APPGCET (MA, MSc, Postgraduate Com) to be held on May 5 and May 8 to 11, APEAPCET (Engineering) to be held on May 12 to 15 and May 18 and Convener of APEAPCET (Agriculture and Pharmaceuticals) to be held on May 19 and 20. Acharya Nagarjuna University Physical Education His professor, PPS Paul Kumar is the convener of APPECET (BP Ed, UG DP Ed and MP Ed) scheduled to be held in May/June 2026.
