TikTok building new version ahead of US sale: report
Tiktok constitutes a new version of its application for users in the United States before a planned sale of implementation to a group of investors referring to anonymous resources.
This said US President Donald Trump would start talking to Chinese officials on Friday or Tuesday about a possible Tiktok agreement.
Authority said the US is an agreement on the sale of the “almost” Tiktok Short-Video application.
In the report, Tiktok developed a plan to start the new application on 5 September to US application stores.
Trump last month until September 17th, the United States’s Tiktok’s US assets to dispose of a Chinese -based Bayta extended to a deadline.
In the report, Tiktok users in the United States will have to download the new application in order to continue to use the service, but the current application timeline may change, but they will work until March next year.
Tiktok did not respond immediately to a Reuters comment request.
Earlier this year, Tiktok’s US operations made an agreement to a new US -based company, majority and operated by US investors.
The Chinese government was waiting for Trump that it would not approve of following the upright tariff announcements on Chinese goods.
Trump said the US would probably have to make an agreement approved by China.
