Thomas Markle’s heartbreaking 6 word plea to Meghan after leg amputation | Royal | News

He told The Mail on Sunday that he wanted to tell his daughter: “I don’t want to die alienated.”
She also wants to see him at least “one more time” before her death and told The Mail On Sunday she wants to meet her grandchildren Prince Archie, six, and Princess Lilibet, four, before it’s too late.
Thomas also said he had not received a message from the duchess, although he always kept the same phone number in case she wanted to reach him.
A hospital source, speaking with Mr Markle’s permission, also told the paper that Meghan had not contacted anyone at the hospital to inquire about her father’s condition.
The source told The Mail on Sunday: “‘Mr. Markle is a VIP patient. Of course we all know who he is. If Meghan or anyone connected to her had called here, we would know. It’s a big hospital by Philippine standards, but we all know each other and talk.’
“We were all confused when we saw the news that the duchess had reached out to her father. As far as we know, nothing like this has happened. We would love to see the duchess here in the Philippines!”

Although Meghan’s father is in “good condition”, it is believed he is not yet out of danger and required amputation after a “large blood clot” in his thigh stopped blood flow to his foot and lower leg.
