NEWYou can now listen to Fox News articles!

Sen. Elizabeth Warren’s vocal support for the Democratic Senate campaign of her controversial New England neighbor Graham Platner is raising eyebrows in light of a series of resurfaced revelations, including his Nazi-linked tattoo and an admission that he was aroused by the smell of biocides at Port-a-Johns.

Recently, Platner was criticized for appearing to wish the Taliban would kill former Pennsylvania GOP lieutenant governor candidate Teddy Daniels after video of him under siege in Afghanistan emerged:

“Stupid mom, she didn’t deserve to live,” Platner said in a resurfaced social media post about the Purple Heart recipient. “Poor marksmanship on the part of the Taliban…”

Washington-area radio host Larry O’Connor offered a mix of Warren shouting “my kind of guy” on his podcast with a description of Platner’s emerging foibles.

“Hi Elizabeth Warren, Graham Platner says every time he walks into Port-a-John he smells the blue water there and should have fun – how do you react?”

“That’s my kind of guy!” A clip of Warren interjects.

“Hey Elizabeth Warren, Graham Platner just said [‘American Sniper’] Chris Kyle…is actually a psychopathic killer…”

The clip played again: “That’s my kind of guy.”

“Yes I can do this all day,” O’Connor said. “And I have no doubt that he really is that kind of guy.”

When appeared before Fox News Digital In Washington on Wednesday, Warren smiled at the camera, said nothing and continued walking toward an office building.

DEMS QUIET ABOUT PROGRESSIVE CANDIDATE GETTING NAZI-STYLE TATTOO AFTER REMOVING HEGSETH FOR CHRISTIAN SYMBOL

Conservative commentator “Western Lensman” flagged the 33-page letter Warren sent to Secretary of War Pete Hegseth while her candidacy is being considered in 2025.

Warren asked Hegseth about her “Deus Vult” or “God Wills” tattoo, a Christian phrase associated with the Crusades, and expressed concerns that Hegseth was removed from former President Joe Biden’s inauguration because “his fellow soldiers were sufficiently concerned about reporting him as a potential insider threat.”

Lensman contrasted this objection to Hegseth’s Christian tattoo with Platner’s silence about his own chest tattoo, which was considered German Nazi imagery.

“That tells you everything [the left’s complaints about right-wing] “White supremacy and all that stuff is pure performance-based nonsense,” he said.

Bernadette Breslin, a former top aide to Sen. Josh Hawley (R-Mo.), had suggested Warren sing side-by-side praise about Platner a few weeks before appearing tight-lipped on Fox News Digital.

“Look how quickly he changed his tune when his baggage started to become a political liability,” Breslin said. said in x.

TOP DEM MPS SHOW QUESTIONS WHEN PLATNER PRESSURED ON REDDIT SCANDAL

The Republican Party’s rapid-response account, RNC Research, has seized on Warren’s glowing remarks about Platner and is now using them for circumstantial criticism.

Iowa State Sen. Zach Wahls, D-Iowa City, called out Warren at an event, calling out retired U.S. Senate Sen. When he said he was “very honored to have her endorsement” in his bid to fill the seat of Joni Ernst, R-Iowa. RNC released The context around Warren also supports the controversial Platner.

“Warren has also supported candidates like Graham Platner, who has a Nazi tattoo, praised Hamas tactics, and said women should ‘act like adults’ to avoid rape.”

Meanwhile, Daniels, who ran for sheriff of North Carolina’s Dare County last year, told Fox News’ “The Bottom Line” that Platner’s comments were ordinary for the issue he was dealing with and that he largely rejected them.

“I take no offense. I’ve been attacked by the left for years,” Daniels said.

“This is coming from a man whose party has no idea what a woman is, yet she was on the internet and saw a video of a man and had an emotional breakdown like a 13-year-old girl who has just been dumped by her boyfriend — this is not the kind of leadership we need in our government,” she added.

Platner attributed his online behavior to post-traumatic stress disorder and personal depression resulting from military service in the Middle East, saying in a statement: “I’m sorry for this. Know that this is not at all reflective of who I am.”

“I don’t want you to judge me by the stupidest thing I’ve ever written on the internet. I’d rather people judge me for who I am today,” the oyster farmer added.

Other Democrats besides Warren have also been tight-lipped on Platner this week, as House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries of New York claimed not to have seen the Reddit posts when he confronted a Fox News Digital reporter on Wednesday outside the same Washington, D.C., office building that Warren had recently entered.
