Couple die in each other’s arms after getting trapped in car during storm as they drove home to their children after attending a wedding

A couple whose car was flooded during the storm were found dead in each other’s arms.
Mariano Robles, 28, and Solana Albornoz, 32, had to return to their children after a wedding in Tafí Viejo in northern Argentina due to extreme weather conditions.
They sent a message to their nanny explaining that they planned to wait for the rain to pass before continuing, but that was the last they heard from.
Mr Robles and Ms Albornoz were last seen dancing happily at the reception before heading off at around 1am on Sunday morning.
Their five- and nine-month-old children were waiting to wake up at home next to their parents in the morning.
When he did not come to the wedding, worried relatives and wedding guests posted a warning on social media.
Mariano’s brother went to the police station early Sunday morning and reported their disappearance.
Hours later, their white Nissan Versa was found upside down in an irrigation canal with the couple inside.

The couple was last seen having fun at the wedding ceremony, which they left around 01:00 at night.
It turned out that the car was dragged towards the ditch due to sudden flood and the vehicle overturned and fell into it.
Emergency workers recovered the lifeless bodies of Mariano and Solana, who were huddled together in the rubble.
In the last known photographs of the couple while they were alive, they are seen dancing joyfully with their friends at the wedding ceremony.
Mariano worked as a civil servant, while his wife worked at the state-run savings bank Caja Popular de Ahorros.
An investigation has been launched into their deaths.
A third person has been confirmed dead in the storm in the Tucumán region on Saturday night.
It was reported that 12-year-old Lisandro died of electrocution after touching a lamppost in the city of San Miguel de Tucumán while playing football with his friends.
