Operation Sindoor Target Bahawalpur Turns Active Again: Lashkar, Jaish Join Hands, Hold Meeting In The City To Carry Out Attacks On India | World News

New Delhi: India faces a new security challenge with Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) and Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM), two of the country’s most prominent Pakistan-based terror groups, joining hands. Intelligence reports indicate that the groups recently held a high-level meeting in Bahawalpur, Punjab, focusing on coordinated attack strategies against India.
Bahawalpur has once again come under the spotlight as a terror planning centre. The city was previously targeted by India during Operation Sindoor, which was carried out in response to the Pahalgam terror attacks.
NDTV published photos of the Bahawalpur meeting showing JeM commanders and LeT vice president Saifullah Kasuri.

Intelligence sources say these images confirm that the two groups are actively coordinating their operations. Reports also suggest that the meeting may have been held under the guidance of the Pakistani military and its intelligence agency, Inter-Service Intelligence (ISI).
Terrorist Launch Pads Reconstructed in Rawalakot
Sources state that terror launch pads have been re-established in Rawalakot in Pakistan-administered Kashmir. These facilities were also destroyed during India’s military offensive in May this year.
Last month, reports suggested that JeM was preparing a new suicide squad aimed at carrying out attacks within India following the car bomb blast at Red Fort. The group is reportedly raising funds to support these operations.
Financing, Digital Channels
Terrorist groups in Pakistan are mobilizing funds to facilitate infiltration into Kashmir. According to reports, donations are collected under the pretext of supporting Kashmir, often with the tacit support of local officials.
Digital platforms, including the Pakistani application called SadaPay, are reportedly used to channel these funds. Intelligence sources claim that the app was also used to finance the Red Fort attack.
The cooperation between LeT and JeM, coupled with the reconstruction of terrorist infrastructure in Bahawalpur and Rawalakot, indicates an increasing threat.
Indian authorities are on high alert and closely monitoring the activities of these groups to prevent a possible attack.
