Several pedestrians were hit by cars in Derby city centre.

A man has been arrested after a black Suzuki Swift crashed into several people in the Friar Gate area of the city at around 9.30pm on Saturday.

Police confirmed that several people were injured, some seriously, and were treated at the scene by ambulance crews before being taken to hospital.
