See Brad Battin clear his desk: It’s a little heartbreaking. Last week, Australia’s “we’ve got McDonald’s at home” approach to the US Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) sent out invitations to various Christmas parties.

In Victoria, the conference, bolstered by a recent DemosAU poll showing the Coalition leading Labor 51-49 in the state, announced Brad Battin as its special guest (with Jacinta Allan leading 40-32 as the preferred premier in that poll).
