Shooting incidents in the USA
This incident occurred a few months after the shooting at Brown University, just a few miles away in Rhode Island. A man opened fire at Brown University’s Barus and Holley engineering building in Providence in December, killing two students and wounding nine others, CNN reported.
Meanwhile, in a separate incident earlier this month, a 16-year-old student was taken into custody in connection with a shooting at Thomas S. Wootton High School in Rockville, according to the Montgomery County Police Department. While the police found an injured student who was taken to the hospital, the suspect was taken into custody.
