Utah Governor Spencer Cox told journalists, a young Utah man who was suspected of killing an effective conservative activist Charlie Kirk at a university in Orem.

“We understood him, Co Cox said to journalists.

The suspect, described as Tyler Robinson, confessed to a family friend – or implied that he had “committed the murder” – and that person contacted the Sharif office of the Washington district on Thursday.

A family member interviewed by the inspectors said that Robinson has recently become more political and talked about Kirk in a humiliating way.

At a press conference, FBI Director Kash Patel, Robinson was detained about 33 hours after the murder of Kirk on Thursday night.

Kirk, a close ally of US President Donald Trump, was killed on Wednesday with a single bullet while talking on stage at the open -air amphitheater at Utah Valley University.

Previously, the US Inspectors said that the bolt action rifle, which was believed to be used to kill Kirk, found that a person interested released the images.

Inspectors spoke to Robinson’s comments about Discord, a popular conversation and flow platform among players, and left a rifle from a rifle and then left a rifle in a towel.

Cox, a Republican, was called Kirk’s killing of the “American experiment” and called for a new generation to “choose a different way”.

Cox is believed to act alone, Robinson, and said the investigation continued.

A well -linked activist, writer and Podcast presenter Kirk helped to create support for Trump and the Republican Party among young voters.

Kirk was the founding partner and president of the conservative student group Turning Point USA and took part in Utah Valley on Wednesday as a part of the planned 15 -event “American Return Tours” planned by the US College campuses.

His killing confused the anger and denunciation of political violence from Republicans, Democrats and foreign governments.

Kirk was often engaged with critics from the left to the right to the right, and usually invited the members of their audience to live.
