Erika Kirk supports Sergio Gor during Oval Office swearing-in ceremony

Charlie Kirk’s widow, Turning Point CEO Erika Kirk, attended the swearing-in ceremony of family friend Sergio Gor as President Donald Trump’s new ambassador to India.
Gor was sworn in at a crowded ceremony in the Oval Office on Monday, where Trump invited Erika Kirk to speak.
“Charlie loved you,” she told Gor, emphasizing her late husband’s friendship with Gor. “He would be the first phone call when he found out if you were going to take this position.”
Gor was appointed US ambassador to India in October.

“It was absolutely humbling to be able to witness you two working together over the years and defending and supporting the president, and I am so proud of you, and Charlie will be with you in spirit every day,” Erika Kirk added. “I will pray for you every day because I know this is just the beginning of an incredible opportunity for you.”

“This is the honor of a lifetime,” Gor told Trump after he was sworn in. “What you accomplished in 10 months was historic, surpassing any other presidency.”
“I fully believe that what you will achieve in the next three years will never be defeated,” he added.
