Man accused of threatening former Prince Andrew enters not guilty plea in court

A 39-year-old man admitted threatening the former Prince Andrew near his new home on the royal family’s Sandringham estate on Friday.
Alex Jenkinson, 39, was imprisoned by King George III last year for his links to Jeffrey Epstein. He is accused of using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behavior towards the former prince, whose royal titles were stripped by Charles.
Jenkinson, who faces two charges, is accused of threatening Andrew on Wednesday and another man on Tuesday.
The former Duke of York is also expected to give evidence at the hearing at Westminster Magistrates’ Court on July 29.

According to the Daily Telegraph, Andrew was allegedly shouted at by a masked man while walking his dogs near his home.
“Officers attended and the man was arrested on suspicion of a public order offense and possession of an offensive weapon,” a police statement said. he said.
The incident comes three months after Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor (as he is now known) was arrested on suspicion of misconduct in public office in connection with his ties to Epstein and his time as the UK trade envoy.

Andrew denied all charges against him, but agreed to settle Giuffre’s civil sexual assault lawsuit in 2022. He later died by suicide in 2025.

Jenkinson appeared in court remotely, with his arm in a sling, at King’s Lynn Police Investigation Center in Norfolk on Friday.

He pleaded guilty to not providing a blood sample while in custody.
Jenkinson was granted bail on the condition that he not enter Norfolk county, have no contact with Andrew and stay 500 meters away from Sandringham, Buckingham Palace, Balmoral Castle, Windsor Castle and Highgrove.
